Billy Lim representing Hairdressing Industry meeting Datuk Bandar of DBPJ. PLANNING MHA

Anyone and everyone who had pay attention to or seen the Malaysian Hairdressing Association (MHA) growth will know how much Billy's contribution to it.

Billy had announced and personally invites hairdressers to join-forming the hair association, he even strongly highlights the important of (MHA) in The China Press full-page interview on 23 March 2003 and New Life Post on 7 May 2003.

He then form a small group of committee and called for monthly meeting from time to time, by the time he prepared most of the paper works, application work to the Registrar of Society office, follow up and check up from time to time until it got approved. The China Press on 23 March 2003

This new MHA had organised and participated in few important hair events. Lately, MHA with Inter Expo had successfully join organised the first ever national open hair competition called Hair Malaysia 2005 in October 2005, and then Hair Malaysia 2006, Hair Malaysia 2007 and Hair Malaysia 2008. This is also first Malaysia hair competition which follow international Hair World's standard.

Again, Billy's personally do the study, planning and responsible to "Hair Malaysia" competition's Scoring System and Computer Programme which proved it is able to result fast-count, fair, transparent, systematic and smooth judging process although it has judgers and participants changes in last minutes for different name and number.

26th April 2009, Billy Lim is new President of Malaysian Hairdressing Association.
