Fantasy Professional - Fire Theme (Open)
Fantasy Hairstyle on a female / male model
The expanse of fire theme will allow contestants to draw imagination conclusions on their idea of the mysterious cosmic fire and translate it into their hairstyling.

Overall champion (all three Senior categories)
Receive winner trophy, certificate and a chance to visit an International Hair Show worth Rm10, 000.00.

Senior Category
Winners will be awarded winner trophy, certificate, sponsored prizes and RM1,500. 1st and 2nd runner ups will be awarded trophy, certificate, sponsored prizes , RM1,000 and RM500 cash respectively.

Junior Category
Winners will be awarded winner trophy, certificate, sponsored prizes and RM750 cash. 1st and 2nd runner ups will be awarded trophy, certificate, sponsored prizes, RM500 and RM250 cash respectively.

Fantasy Category (Open - Fire Theme)
Winners will be awarded winner trophy, certificate, sponsored prizes and RM1,500 cash. 1st and 2nd runner ups will be awarded trophy, certificate, sponsored prizes, RM1,000 and RM500 cash respectively.

All winners and winning entries will be highlighted in the Hair Malaysia publicity and marketing blitz coordinated by Interexpo, Malaysian Hairdressing Association and supporting publications.

Who is Eligible?

• Malaysian junior and senior hairdressers.
• Junior contestants can choose to enter up to all two (2) categories. Contestants in this category must be under 25 years of age on the day of the competition.
• Senior contestants can choose to enter up to all three (3) categories. No age limit.

Fees
Registration fee RM110 (member RM80) per category for Senior/Professional category
RM80 (member RM50) per category for Junior/Student category
RM220 (member RM160) all three 3 categories
(inclusive of MHA 1 year ordinary membership)

Competition & Awards days:	7 & 8 October 2007

Competition Rules

1. A Pre-competition workshop will be conducted by MHA three (3) weeks prior to the competition day to brief contestants on the competition entries, rules & regulations.

2. The competitions are open to all Malaysian only.

3. Model. All contestants must provide their own female/male model, mannequin heads with holders. All expenses concerning model or mannequin will be contestants’ responsibility. Model’s clothing and accessories must be appropriate to the theme.

4. Tools. All contestants must provide their own tools, equipment, accessories and products to complete the “finished look”.

5. All contestants will be given T-shirts.

6. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into after judging.

7. Program and Rules & Regulations. All registered contestants will be given a competition program and rules & regulations which must be adhered to.

8. Contestants and Model Release. The contestants and models must sign a release before the competition starts for submission to the Organizer.

9. The winners are allowed to mention in advertising, or in any promotional materials, that they are, or have been, winners of Hair Malaysia 2007. They must include the category won and the year.

10. The Organizer reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions, and cancel any of the categories. The organizer will not be help responsible in the event of any such unforeseen or unfortunate circumstances.

11. Proof of posting of submissions is not proof of receipt.
