For the first time ever Salon XPO will run 24 - 25 June 2006 at the new Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. The exhibition is a dedicated event for the hair and beauty industry in Western Australia and will run in conjunction with the prestigious IHS WA State Hair Awards.
With ‘personal care’ spending increasing more than 25 percent since 1998 (ABS Household Expenditure Survey Australia 2003/04), the Salon XPO caters ideally for those industry professionals and consumers. The XPO is expected to attract a high level of interest.
The XPO, managed by leading Australian owned exhibition company, Expertise Events, has already proved to be very popular with floor space sales exceeding expectations.
Salon XPO was created to provide state and national suppliers of hair and beauty products an opportunity to promote directly to a qualified buying audience from salons across Western Australia. Visitors will see hundreds of beauty and hair products and services allowing them to keep up with all the latest industry trends. The expo will be packed with new product displays and a program of informative and educational demonstrations.
Expertise Events have teamed up with the International Hair Stylists Society WA Branch promising a significant volume of the trade buying across WA, SA and the NT.
Mr Jas Jhally, WA Director of the International Hair Stylists Society said the industry has waited for a long time for this kind of event which is ideal for beauty and hair professionals to keep abreast of industry trends without having to fly east to attend industry shows.
This exciting new event runs on the same weekend as the IHS State Hair Awards. The combination of these two events will prove attractive for salon owners and professionals,” Jhally said.
